OUR TEAM

Emma graduated from Sewanee: The University of the South with a bachelor’s in art history in 2023. Her senior honor’s thesis focused on contemporary artists confronting and dismantling destructive agricultural practices through socially-engaged projects– taking on ecological resilience and community healing as intertwined pairs. 

Emma was awarded the 2024-2025 Fulbright Curatorial Fellowship to the Hugh Lane Gallery in Dublin, Ireland. Now based in Asheville, NC, Emma first joined SOURCE Studio and Mel Chin Studio in November 2023.
