PROJECTS
Building on a legacy of methodologies from Mel Chin Studio, S.O.U.R.C.E. investigates, creates, and supports artistic project production and activities while integrating action-based learning, shared critical reflection, and honest accountability. Projects are rooted in community and often take on an iterative approach to allow for experimentation and breakthroughs.
This year, S.O.U.R.C.E. is focusing on four key areas:
- Celebrate and support artists through the Corrina Mehiel Fellowship
- Support the evolution, completion and documentation of the Fundred Project
- Work with artist Mel Chin on the early phase of neighborhood-based projects in Houston and Miami;
- Conduct convenings for exchange and learning with core participants and related communities.
